About the Author

Jim was raised and lived many years in Bucks County Pennsylvania. The county was the home of author James Michener, and for a time the author Pearl Buck and lyricist Oscar Hammerstein of the Broadway musical team, Rodgers and Hammerstein. This was the environment of Jim’s youth, which nurtured his value of small rural communities having deep roots in history, and filled with interesting personalities.

He attended Council Rock High School in Newtown, Bucks County where his two sons also are alumni. Bucks County is also now home to his granddaughter Kendall.

Over the last twenty plus years the author has run his own marketing and insurance agency. The individuals he was involved with through his own business afforded him the opportunity to live and interact with people in the Caribbean.

Craig enjoys photography, SCUBA and golf’ however writing is his true passion. Over the last twenty years, he has dabbled in writing in various forms. He has had articles and stories published under an assumed name. This is the first novel written under his signature. Jim’s favorite authors are     Michener, Hemingway and Dostoyevsky. He shares that he likes “each authors’ ability to develop a realistic and meaningful character while creating a compelling story around them.”
