About the Book

In The Note of C begins with a short story dealing with date rape and then offers the reader an array of eclectic narrative poems dealing with relationships. The poems found in this book are passionate, insightful, heart-warming and inspiring. The works move fluidly and will stir the imagination and soul. Most importantly it is the author’s hope that the short story and poems found in this book would promote conversation and action. This is a fantastic book to read on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

"I do not seek Wealth, Fame or Place,
Among the great ones of my race,
But, I would pen in letters bold!
Some thoughts! perhaps to cheer the soul."
Myra Viola Wilds
