Gratitude Healing traces the history of gratitude from Cicero in 140 B.C. to the present day use of the attitude of gratitude in recovering from addictions. It presents a lot of information about gratitude. This information is organized into a treatment strategy to help people move from ingratitude over to the attitude of gratitude. You are encouraged to become acquainted with your ingrate state. You need to know you are into your Ingrate State in order to know when to get out of it. Then you will learn techniques to apply to yourself and your mind to get into the attitude of gratitude. You will learn to reframe you ingrate state. About the Author

Monte J. Meldman M.D. is a board certified psychiatrist who has specialized in the treatment of people with addictions. He has treated thousands of alcoholics, drug addicts, and obese people in many different settings – in hospital programs, in the office, in individual therapy, and in groups. Gratitude is a central theme in recovering from addictions and Dr. Meldman explores gratitude as a healing tool in detail in this book. Gratitude is both a feeling and a doing, becoming obligated and paying back for what you have been given. Gratitude healing is intended to help people transition from the ingrate state into the attitude of gratitude that is typical of a recovering person.
