About the Book

Mystic Experiences of a Primadonna culminates Contessa de Torri Hudson’s lifelong association with the supernatural world. She has written many articles and given lectures on the subject, thus this book is a collection of true psychic experiences, points of view, and personal stories. She has tried to combine most aspects on the subject dealing with synchronicity, age regression, spirit communication, personal proof of survival of the human soul, and the startling psychic ability of children and animals. She has tried to give comfort to the grieving, reassurance to the timid, a wealth of knowledge of the mysteries concerning life after death, and consoling assurance that the door to communication with our loved ones who have passed on is never closed. Each chapter in this book is a new and exciting revelation and has been written for that purpose.

About the Author

Elinor (Janson) de Torri Hudson was born in Dresden, Germany, by American parents. At age sixteen she was introduced to spiritualism by the well-known medium Grace von Reuther, a friend of the family. She became vitally interested in the subject, developing the knowledge of automatic writing while giving lectures on Psychic Phenomena. During her travels, she has met many famous people such as Sir Conan Doyle, Eileen Garret, and Arthur Ford.

Elinor studied voice in Italy where she married Count de Torri, thereby becoming a Contessa. (Only a few years later, Count de Torri was tragically murdered in Abyssinia.) Elinor has sung leading roles in opera houses around the world. In Buenos Aires she sang with the world famous Wagnerian tenor, Ramon Vinay . . . and also sang Verdi's Requiem with Toscanini conducting. She has composed songs, which have been sung by leading artists in Italy, South America, at Carnegie Hall, California, and Florida. She has also written three Operettas, successfully performed in California.

Elinor, at an early age, combined music with her other love . . . writing. She wrote articles and had her own column in Berlin, Buenos Aires, San Francisco, and Florida newspapers. She has written many volumes about her experiences, publishing The Rotating Circle of Eternal Life with major success (the book was dictated to her by her Indian Guide and deals with life in Heaven). Her most recent book is called War Time Letters From An American Mother which shares letters written to Elinor in America from her American mother who was trapped in Germany during World War II.

Having traveled throughout the world, Elinor now resides with her two cats, Priscilla and Figaro, in a hilltop house in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina, still doing what she loves best:ׁmusic, writing, and keeping in close touch with friends from the beyond. Contessa Elinor de Torri Hudson is ninety-three years old.
