THAT SECRET PLACE
There is a place, a secret place
Where you can I can go.
It's within the special kingdom
Where no one else can grow
Except us two.
That kingdom is our salvation
That secret place not shared with any other
Lest upon us comes destruction
Of that precious recognition.
Whatever you share of our secret place
In Almighty God's Kingdom
Lessens the hold of recognition
Of salvation for ourselves alone
In sweet communion.
To be alike in our differences
In that intimate embrace
Is like seeing one another
Face to face in our knowing.
It allows us space for that Love
To absorb the Light
And to grow in the gloaming
Of that dark good night.
To say too little is not enough
And must needs violets of forgiveness.
Permit my face to cover my nakedness
And the fragrance from that bliss
Shall be a kiss meritorious, victorious.
If Understanding's within the heart's core,
It won't cause despair in th' Significant Other
For it will h-o-l-d; then to restore
And cause the Loved Other's soul to soar.
The gentle light of your soul on the Other's
Wound is helpful to the source-circle of
Renewal of love to hold us both together. To
Invoke the healing Third Force of Light
Between us brings forgiveness, in the stoney
Times when we're not together.
DESIRES OF THY HEART
Stripes of silver; bands of gold
Must there by a tragedy For God to enfold
His lamb and sheep with Love? Does God see
The other side of lives from Heaven as it'd lived
On earth? Pick up the threads of Life He holds
For daily stripes of silver are woven in with
Gold.
As no one is ever completely alone,
One change made with silver stripes shall have
Bands of blue with the gold. Answers sought
With a woman's stripes of silver match with a
Man's band of gold.
If you knew the beloved's body, that vessel
Clay, you could imagine where her clay had
Lain before . . . Some clay came from beside a
Calm stream where nature is lonely. Or it could
Come form a private, reserved place.
"The Almighty grades upon the curve," one
Educator said, for thoughts manifested in life
Become as silver when matched with thoughts
Of gold." Places of nature meet within a human
Body are many; to recognize one to another as
A blend of differences in tone.
From the Almighty's all-embracing Love
And strength are within a woman's stripes of
Silver, and wove in beside her man's own band
Of gold.
