About the Author
Ferlin Clay Morgan was born in 1966 as a fairly healthy child, and grew up as a farm hand that was very gifted. He could do just about anything he set his mind to do. Ferlin finished high school and sought his first job. Everything was going well for him for the first three or four years; then suddenly, bad luck took over his life. The author states, "Have you ever felt that your life here on God’s green earth was over, and no one person could tell you why?" The author became ill and was diagnosed with phlebitis in his veins. As the years passed by the condition worsened and was very painful. By January 1996 the condition had crippled him, and by Christmas of that year the illness had nearly taken his life. But thanks to God and the comfort and support of Mr. Morgan’s wife and little boy, he found the strength to hang on and keep fighting. Thankfully, six very good doctors found his problem and fixed it, giving Ferlin the opportunity to tell his story.
