About the Book

This visionary fiction teaches spiritual truths in a story that is simultaneously easy to read yet rich with meaning.  Set in the eleventh century, RHIANNON is about a young girl who, at age ten, leaves home to embark on a spiritual journey, destined before her birth.  She travels with her grandmother to a remote island to become a priestess-in-training in an order that honors and merges the wisdom of many great traditions.  The lessons she studies over six years include the oneness of all--non-defensiveness--harmony--quieting the mind to hear the voice of the heart--surrender--forgiveness--non-judgment--and healing.

The fictional and historical frames of this book allow the reader permission and safety to suspend his or her own perceptions and beliefs and easily explore those of Rhiannon.  She is one who clearly represents the potential in all of us, gifted and dedicated and often struggling with her own fears and doubts, triumphs and failures, yet always returning to Truth.  Her lessons, like our own, are taught through both formal studies and life experiences.  Simply yet effectively written, the story engages, enlightens, entertains and, above all, empowers the reader who is pursuing a modern day spiritual journey. Filled with ritual, adventures and love, Book I ends with Rhiannon leaving her beloved island to share her truths in the world.  Book II begins where the first left off, depicting Rhiannon’s journey and her challenge of teaching, holding, and remaining spiritual truth in a world as forgetful as our own.

RHIANNON is the archetypal journey of discovering the universal truths operating in all cultures and all times.  As Gerald Jampolsky, MD, best selling author of Love is Letting Go of Fear and teacher of A Course in Miracles says, “--set in the eleventh century, it [RHIANNON] reminds us that across the span of time and cultures, the voice of Love has always been the answer.”

About the Author

Susi Roos began her healing ministry as an R.N. working in emergency rooms.  It was there she first realized that a much greater force than technology was at work with matters of life and death.  Further studies in mind-body medicine led her to explore spirituality.  Through various spiritual practices, Susi started consciously accessing and recording greater inner wisdom.  Her Jewish background combined with ordination as both a non-denominational spiritual minister (1996) and as a spiritual healer (1998 by Ron Roth, spiritual leader and former Catholic priest) have taught Susi that underneath each tradition’s dogma and doctrine, there rests the same truths.  And if those truths are moved beyond intellectual understanding and come alive through the heart, they awaken within us much joy, healing, peace and love.

The Rhiannon books (Truth Seeker and Truth Bearer) were written to share these universal truths through fiction.  Gerald Jampolsky, author of Love is Letting Go of Fear, says, “Set in the 11th century, it [RHIANNON] reminds us that across the span of time and cultures, the voice of love has always been the answer.”

Susi is also the author of The Divine Dance and Prayers from the Heart. She is also the founder of Blossoming Heart Ministry.
