Summer Solstice, her friends and their families are celebrating their graduation from middle school in their favorite picnic spot, Lambs Canyon. The teenagers go on a hike while they await their evening meal. Their destination the ten thousand-foot peak: Mt. Walamalee. A violent electric storm arises a strange light appears. About the Author

Dr. Taylor was a medical researcher for almost eleven years and then entered the teaching profession as a high school science teacher for the next eleven years. It was during the latter part of his time as a teacher that he began writing adventure stories to help his Chemistry and Earth and Physical Science students understand and appreciate the excitement and daily application of science. The Disappearance of Summer Solstice is the second in the series of those works.
