Christ-Walk, Finding True Worship and the Kingdom of God

Let it be acknowledged that the greatest spiritual writer of the twentieth-century is Watchman Nee, and his greatest work is The Latent Power of the Soul. Using Nee's work it is now possible to differentiate between the three power centers of the human entity resulting from the Adamic fall:
· Benign power of the soul, an extrasensory capacity of enormous potential, anesthetized in most humans
· A malignant power of the soul normally activated as an extrasensory link to Satan's kingdom
· The human spirit also anesthetized in most humans, capable of an extrasensory link to God.
Building on that important work, the Spirit of God has caused a great light to be cast upon some of the historical mistakes of the church. Today we can see what was only dimly perceived before, the mistakes of the church generated because the Fathers were unable to distinguish between these power centers. Expectations are high. If these mistakes can be corrected, might the promise of tomorrow hold church revival and cultural transformation? Could the church finally find its second breath and finish the mission given to it by our Lord? Then dare we hope for paradise approximated in the coming of the kingdom of God? It is held in this text that the answer to each question is yes and that a great accomplishment awaits the attention of humanity!
Pursuing these goals, this manuscript has been developed, prayerfully shedding some of the light missing these many centuries. This light especially illuminates the loss of the power path given by our Savior for the earthly implementation of the kingdom of God. This power path is labeled as the Christ-Walk in this text. It is the intention of this book to offer this path to the Christian world as the lost power vector of our Savior, the road back to His mission task of bringing the kingdom of God to earth.
But the scope of this task is beyond the grasp of a mere human. So to implement this work an attempt was made to develop a new form of writing, one which utilizes the Spirit of God as a new interactive coordinate in the human frame of reference, to the extend that the Spirit is willing. This required an interactive commune with God, which was provided. So established the Holy Spirit provided abundant input, frequently producing new and refreshing definitions. For instance, the peak of the first century Gentile church, strongly active as the vehicle for the redemption of the pagan Roman culture, a fact that changed the course of the world, is called the Great Redemptive Engine of God, offered as a target for all to rediscover. The reader must differentiate this new approach from a prophetic or inspired manuscript. The difference is found in the commune with God, the anticipated common condition of the saints for the future, and the hope of the world for a renewed awareness of Jesus Christ and His mission to rescue humanity and its civilization.
Now grasp the magnitude of this work. The Spirit is calling for an answer to Jesus' 1205 demand on Francis of Assisi:
REPAIR MY HOUSE!
Despite two major efforts, the Spiritual Franciscans and the Protestant Reformation, the Spirit indicates Jesus' call been unfulfilled for 794 years. Surely, the patience of God must be challenged!
Accordingly, this text is devoted to this problem, seeking the reconstruction of the House of Jesus through the restoration of the Christ-Walk among the faithful.
A Brief Background on How I came to This Task
Two events moved me from the realm of logic to the duality reality of life. The first was the 1969 unknowing purchase of a house subjected to evil spirit manifestations. Neither theology nor science can rule supreme over the nightly sound of pounding doors when all the doors are closed and locked, or the breaking of glass when no glass is broken. Human arrogance about the reality of life fade fast in the wild and frightening confrontation between the two realms of existence. Academicians that speak of demonic entities as a myth are at best full of bombastic puff or, at worst, workers of the enemy of God. What would they do if they ever saw an evil spirit manifest in another human or even in themselves? Most of these teachers cannot comprehend the evil they do when they leave the innocent intellectually and spiritually defenseless to evil inducements to sin because of their pedantic misconceptions about the presence of evil entities. They need to read these words of Jesus:
Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come. (Matthew 18:7).
The second event was a thunderous baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1973. It brought me into the spirit-filled life. From there I moved into intensive spiritual warfare, where I unknowingly shifted into spiritual Christianity.
Then, sitting in contemplation one day in a large downtown Chicago church, a clear message from God arrived. God wanted me to build His Church on a rock foundation based on four great halls: faith, healing, agape love, with the last one to be told to me later. I took a drafting board and attempted to come up a design, but to no avail; after a year I assumed I had misheard the call.
Then another message arrived. God called me to start this construction task by writing for Him. Wounded by the first message, I refused to write, claiming, rightly, no experience, no interest, no knowledge, and untested talent. My education was in the technological fields of science and physics from which I had developed a career in computers. 'If you want this from me, force me into it, then I can trust the message.' With those words I thought it was over. Thirteen years later, however, He did force me, bringing me to my knees in complete brokenness. 'Now will you write for me?' God asked. 'You've got your man!' I replied.

So, thirteen years late, I accepted the assignment. With no idea what to write, I just promised integrity in all my writings regardless of whose sensitivities might be violated. Immediately, the words and the concepts came tumbling out, at the rate of 4,500 words a day for nine months.
Then a new and startling development occurred. For two periods of six months, five years apart, the Spirit would awaken me at night with spiritual teachings, which eventually grew into 320 spiritual laws or corollaries. Then near the end of the laws, I received another jolt. The law dealing with physical death defined a form of life cycles. I had a difficult time accepting this law since it did not fit my religious brainwashing. And although it passed all tests, I tried to renege on my promise, but the Spirit persisted. My personal struggle over this issue lasted for five years with the Spirit patiently and steadfastly confirming the information flow. This text is the product of that struggle and that informational flow.
Here are the eight classifications into which the Spirit divided these laws:
1- Spiritual laws of the kingdom of Heaven applicable to human civilization
2- Personal Salvation
3- Individual growth
4- Discipleship
5- Overcoming
6- Spiritual warfare
7- Individual decorum in the New Covenant Kingdom
8- Cultural structure for the New Covenant Kingdom.
The Spirit indicates that these spiritual laws are to be the nucleus for Christian unity, comprising the precise definition of the fighting sword of the Word of God, becoming the antithesis of a developmental process to the Demonstration Kingdom defined as Dialectical Agapism in this text. This was God's kingdom developmental process from Joachim of Flora to Hegel down to our time. Jesus appeared to Francis of Assisi in 1205 and said three words, 'Repair my House!'
Clearly, Jesus commanded a return to His Apostolic church and its prime mission to bring the kingdom of God to earth. Two great movements attempted this repair, the Spiritual Franciscans and the Protestant Reformation. It is equally clear is that both movements ultimately failed, leaving Christianity deeply embedded in religiosity, defined as religion by regimentation. Christian worship has been organized, but human organization and the freedom-loving Spirit of God do not mix. As the true worship of God recedes from our churches, our culture approaches a moral abyss. Desperately, our nation, our culture, and our churches need to return to the life-directing faith path of the apostolic walk. Called the Christ-Walk in this text, this precious path of life is defined by Isaiah 35:8. And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness.
Unrecognized, the unfulfilled commitment of Jesus' 1205 request is still upon each of us. By seeking the will of God in the Christ-Walk, each saint can satisfy that command. There, the saint can reach the fullness of Jesus' love, and incrementally return the church to its original apostolic mission vector. In this effort, each saint can repair Jesus' House working from the bottom up. Let us agree, we have had enough of religion! Look, there is no difference in the faith and fervor of the world's religions, existing in equal measure around the world. No, humanity needs a greater thing than religiosity. We need an integrated faith walk influencing every thought and action of our lives. And at this level of life-long pervasiveness, humans can only abide God's love, dwelling within agape love.
Humanity will not excel in agape love until it can reach the integrity of Jesus' love found most profusely in the Christ-Walk. Once agape love is found as a life style not a social syntax or as the practiced facade, then agape civilization beckons.
Dynamic and flexible, the Christ-Walk is customized for each human walking this way. It cannot be put into a precisely defined structure as a mass production process. It is emphatically, not religiosity. Rather, it is adult Christian food, the true subsequence of life and the real reason for human existence. But the Christ-Walk is not a gift, it requires the search spoken of in Mathew 6:33. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness... hence, seeking representing the true divide in Christianity separating the carnal from the spiritual saint thus separating Jesus' true church from the religious impersonation. Today, Jesus' true church is found where it is found, one member here, another there. Tomorrow, under the influence of the Spirit's massive outpouring, the true church will rise from the Christ-Walk, prevailing across America and several other countries, seriously changing these cultures.
Although the Christ-Walk is unique to each human, we can outline the highpoint characteristics of that walk, allowing a rough measurement for each soul traversing this path. Basically, the Christ-Walk is composed of these sub-paths:
- Walk to wholesomeness
- Attenuation path to sanctification featuring the conversion of both the alert and subconscious mind to Jesus' salvation
- Overcoming walk to discipleship in Jesus Christ
This text is built under the guidance of the Spirit to assist those desiring to walk the way of Holiness, there to experience true worship of the Father. Yet, this book is also for those not now interested in Christ, certain of their current belief patterns. Within most of these souls resides a restlessness, vague and undefined. Put aside your preconceived ideas about the Christian religion and seek out the freshness of Jesus' faith walk. Here, in these pages, you can find the answer to your unease, understand the need for another dimension in our reality, the Holy Spirit, discover the real definition of existence, the reason for suffering, and the rest of those life force factors that influence all of us. Then, within this knowledge meet your Savior, Yeshua Ha-Mashiach, known to the West as Christ Jesus!
About the Author
At age eight, the author underwent a Shekinah light of God experience deeply implanting a love for Christ in his heart. Although this love never left, the experience faded in the rush of college followed by the excitement of the life of a tailhook pilot. Later, after the Navy, he trained as a physicist (MS) growing further from his early exposure to God. Then marriage and children, eight in all, distanced this childhood experience. The busyness of the large family mixed with a career in the emerging field of computers focused the author on American life with all its challenges.
This changed abruptly when he stumbled upon the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1973. The transformation was profound and staggering. A decade later, in spiritual warfare, he discovered that God had gifted him with a real-time, anointing commune. The author has utilized this gift to write twelve books and multiple articles, mostly dealing with contemporary and future interactions between church and culture, most unpublished. The key teaching received from this commune is that the kingdom of God is approaching first as a Post-Millennium implementation. It is essential that the church be renewed for this task, divorcing itself from its present informal Pact of Cooperation with neo-paganism. Freed and united, the Christian church is to lead the way. The very existence of an advance human civilization is unknowingly dependent upon this Christian church renewal. To this end, the author is dedicated however humble his contributions might prove.
