Way High in the Sky

Little Tommy was playing in the woods behind the park when he should have been home since it was getting dark.

The woods seemed so friendly during the day but at night they seemed so spooky in every way.

Tommy didn’t know which way to go.

Suddenly Tommy felt helpless and all alone.

"CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME?" Tommy began to shout.

Suddenly he heard odd noises lurking about.

Tommy heard an owl hooting up in a tree.

He shouted, "Hello Mr. Owl, I’m lost. Can you help me?"

Mr. Owl replied, "I’ll be happy to; most certainly. Whenever I get lost I look up at the stars WAY HIGH IN THE SKY!"

"Thank you, Mr. Owl; I’ll do just that."

All of a sudden from behind and old tree trunk out came a tiny little brown chipmunk.

Tommy shouted, "Hello Mr. Chipmunk, I’m lost. Can you help me?"

Mr. Chipmunk replied, "I’ll be happy to; most certainly. Whenever I get lost I look up at the stars WAY HIGH IN THE SKY!"

"Thank you, Mr. Chipmunk; I’ll do just that."

All of a sudden from behind an old log, stumbled a round, fat and very pudgy old groundhog.

"Hello Mr. Groundhog, I’m lost. Can you help me?"

Mr. Groundhog replied, "I’ll be happy to; most certainly. Whenever I get lost I look up at the stars WAY HIGH IN THE SKY!"

"Thank you, Mr Groundhog; I’ll do just that."

Tommy stared at the stars way high in the sky, still not knowing exactly the reasons why. He kept staring at the stars and there were a lot, when suddenly he noticed some stars that were shaped like a pot.

Tommy yelled, "I’ve seen those stars before, WAY HIGH IN THE SKY right outside of my front door."

Little Tommy’s voice went from very sad to very chipper when he realized the stars that were shaped like a pot were that of the Big Dipper.
