About the Author
Jamie was born in York (1978) and brought up in the Ryedale villages of Beadlam/Nawton in rural North Yorkshire. Having lived and worked in Scarborough since 2007, he has spent most of his life in Yorkshire and the north-east of England. Recipient of two Society of Authors awards 2021 and 2022, he was educated at Terrington Hall Prep School, Durham School, Hull University, and currently Arts University Bournemouth. One exchange year was based in Canada. Part One of a duology, Equilibrium was inspired by the imagination, actual lived experience, and from broken dreams. Something of an amateur musician with a young family, he is at home with the creative arts.
