About the Author

Author Scott Baker Sweeney started writing and creating stories very early in life. Most of his work was carefully cataloged in scrapbooks then stored away in his mother‘s closet. In 2007 Scott’s first novel ‘The Tears of Mary’ was published, followed by his first children’s book ‘Beyond The Reef’. Scott has many fans all over the world, including celebrities, politicians and film producers. He attributes his creative imagination to being raised in the country, enjoying long days playing in court fields and wooded ravines. He credits his mother and grandfather, both scribes of poetry & short stories for passing on those special ‘tale telling’ genes. Scott is married and has four children and three grandchildren. He’s passionate about sailing and lives in the suburbs of Indianapolis.
