Evidence of God

The motivation for this investigation came from the increasing frequency of academics, the popular press and some colleagues to promote evolutionary theory and diminish people who believe in intelligent creation. The intent is not to arm any debate but rather add historical information to reasoned discussions and help interested people sort and store information related to the origins of humans. It will always be a work in progress because the discovery of new information is continuous and we should celebrate each piece of new evidence that tells us more about our human history, more about “us.” Increasing a reader’s understanding of the origins of Earth, humans and the first civilizations required reviewing the fields of ancient history, archaeology, paleontology, anthropology, genetics, theology, mythology, linguistics, astronomy, earth sciences and many associated sub-specialties. The challenge to every true researcher is intellectual honesty. So, by taking this journey to a higher level of truth and reason, the author knew he would run into some intellectual turbulence, even hit some rocks that would make him wince. He had to be okay with this and be willing to alter course or change strokes when presented with new verifiable evidence. It is important to recognize that many things which occurred in the past cannot be tested today because they are no longer occurring. Therefore, science is limited to analyzing historic evidence. But history is entirely retrospective and no longer in anyone’s actual experience. So, we must choose evidence on the best information available. In addition, most scholars agree that science operates best when it studies what is real rather than conjecturing about what was, or what might be. Therefore, this composition tries to minimize conjecture and refrain from forecasting. In the end, investigators are limited to remaining evidence such as artifacts, writings, pictures, and physical structures left by civilizations long gone. Further, much history is translation dependent and remains interpretive. Most history is known on a “best available evidence” basis. Finally, a simplistic view of historic or scientific evidence risks a path of too much faith followed by too much disillusionment. The author seeks to avoid both. What do the earliest historic records reveal about the origins of civilizations? 3. What evidence is revealed supporting the repurposing of planet Earth? 4. What evidence is there that humans have been subjected to intentional upgrades? 5. What do the earliest records reveal about the origins of our Solar System and Earth? 6. What do the earliest records provide as evidence of extra-terrestrial or divine intervention? 7. What are the earliest records of personified good and evil? 8. What do the earliest records provide as evidence of an extra-terrestrial place called Heaven? 9. What historic evidence supports the concept of “fallen angels” that are integral to the Abrahamic religions? 10. What evidence is there that angels in the form of super-humans interacted with humans? 11. Who were the gods that the God of the Hebrews instructed his people not to worship when he delivered the first of his ten instructions on Mount Sinai. 12. What evidence is revealed by the ancients as to where heaven is located, and the eternal God resides. The hypothesis: The null hypothesis is that there is no reasonable evidence supporting the existence of a God or Gods. Furthermore, no evidence of divine interventions or providence will be found.
