About the Author

I am a degreed accountant, not a scientist or a pastor. My career began with six years as a Captain in the USAF, followed by several corporate financial positions. I became the general manager of an operating division and my final assignment at this Fortune 100 company was as a Vice President of Business Development and Strategy. After retiring, my wife and I were called to establish a school for Christian pastors and leaders in Russia in the early 1990s. This endeavor focused on evangelism that was specifically relevant to the local culture and environment, a key mission also shared by some ministries we developed in the US. A common thread across both my business and missionary experiences was the critical need for actionable research. In business, this meant understanding the competitive environment. In Russia, it meant grasping the cultural views of the Gospel. This familiarity with research, combined with general curiosity, recently led me to recognize the immense changes in scientific understanding that support the Genesis 1-11 history of creation. I believe this scientific shift has an obvious and significant impact on modern evangelism.
