About the Book

The powerful story of a life lived - and lost - with extraordinary courage.
Read His Influence Lives On and be inspired.
By Alice Astafan
The day you receive the diagnosis that changes everything, the world stops. For one mother and father, that day marked the beginning of a two-year, heart-wrenching battle as their only son faced the devastating reality of leukemia.
His Influence Lives On takes you into the most intimate moments of a family's fight, detailing there lentless "medical intervention," including two failed bone marrow transplants, and the profound suffering endured by a courageous 18-year-old. This is a story of devastating loss, but more powerfully, it's a testament to the boundless love that surrounded him.
Witness the incredible outpouring of support from family, the steadfast faith of a church community, and the inspiring bond of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity brothers who embraced him, standing shoulder-to-shoulder through every good moment and every agonizing one.
In these pages, you will discover the courage he exhibited and the extraordinary way he handled the horrors of his disease—a way that left an unforgettable legacy.
His story is a raw, honest look at grief, faith, and the enduring power of human connection. But most importantly, it shows how, even in the darkest of times, one young man's influence can live on, inspiring us all to live with more grace, fight with more bravery, and love without measure.
