About the Book

Small town Kansan born and bred, ex 50 year resident of Brooklyn NY now residing in West Easton, PA; former free-lance musician (seventeen years as principal trumpet for the New York City Opera) who now amuses himself writing poetry and fiction. Winner of the 2009 Richard Bausch Short Story Prize, short listed for the 2006 Raymond Carver Short Story Prize, cited among the Top 25 in the 2010 Glimmertrain New Writers Contest. A former member of the Sackett Street Writers and the Upper Delaware Writer’s Collective, his fiction has been featured in The Best of Our Stories volumes one and three. He is author of one novel: “Pioneer Street”, and two books of poetry: “Three from Osage Street” and “Dog Walking and Other Poems”.
