About the Book

Over the eastern hills the sun rose signaling the time for the race! Many gathered where the canyon opened to the plain that spreads from the foothills to the valley floor where the Great River runs. How could Rabbit be victorious in a challenge that certainly favored the trickster Coyote?

About the Author

Richard Estrada’s interest in art began in Italy where he graduated from Vicenza American High School and learned photography. He furthered his education at the University of New Mexico (UNM) where he studied fine arts and continued to practice photography. He then transitioned to motion pictures, working for animation studios in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Denver. Through his media company Edgewood Picture Company in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Richard creates a variety of visual and online content. His website at edgewoodpicture.com contains much of his work. The Challenge is his first published book.
