A Life Obscure Some days all I do is cry And still I don’t know just why I have to live my life this way So sad and so very full of pain. SomeTymes I wish that I was dead And free from the demons in my head. I cry someTymes all day and night This way of living isn’t right. I don’t know which way to turn When I wish I was ashes in an urn. There are Tymes when I just feel so weak I haven’t got the courage to speak. So I watch the tears fall to the floor I don’t’ want to live this way anymore. SomeTymes it’s hard to make it through When depression leaves you feeling so blue. There are Tymes when I wish I wasn’t alive It’s so hard to watch the world turn and thrive. I get so sad that I wish my life was over This makes it hard to live my life sober. Each day I thank God for my husband and pet For without them I wouldn’t be here yet. One day I hope they find a cure So I can leave behind this life obscure.

Daron Kenneth is a teacher, writer and poet. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
