About the Book

With COVID-19 taking dancing off the table for such an extended period, thoughts turned to food and cooking. Based on Michael Pollan’s idea - “Eat food, not too much, mostly plants...”, these recipes explore the beauty and joy in cooking. This book intends to accomplish three things: feature appetizing images; offer recipes tasty to eat; and provide a chuckle or a groan along the way.

About the Author

Not a cook or a writer or a photographer by trade, Bob discovered he liked to cook while managing residential facilities for individuals dealing with mental illness. He graduated to cooking more regularly when his mother-in-law needed help regaining her appetite. A lifetime dancing enthusiast, he had a lot more time on his hands during the COVID-19 pandemic, and chose to spend it learning to cook healthy food… and by the way, he also comes from an entire family of inveterate punsters.
