Insight: There are so many ways to pray to God. I like the story of the lineman on top of a telephone pole overhearing three people below talking about the best position to pray in. One said while sitting he felt closest to God, another said standing was his best position, the third said he found lying down was best position for him to pray. At that time the lineman hollered below and said “ I couldn’t help but overhear your discussion about the best position you believe for prayer, the best way I’ve found to pray is, while I was hanging upside down by one leg on top of a telephone pole” Obviously, what really is important is the attitude not position for prayer. About the Book
Foot Washings is a compilation of teachings I have presented to various groups, including Adult/Teen Challenge, church pulpits, prisons, homeless shelters and individuals, bible studies and whoever I could gather with. My purpose in writing this devotional is always to present the Gospel in a format that will lead to practical application by applying spiritual principles in everyday life. Hopefully, this handbook will provide the inspiration, education and encouragement to accomplish this.
