About the Author
Krista Benyuska has worked in public education since 1997. Serving first as a general-education teacher for eight years, then as a gifted-and-talented-education teacher for thirteen years, she currently works as an elementary school counselor. Her family is the inspiration for some of the characters and settings in this story. Krista grew up on a farm in rural Pennsylvania and now lives with her husband in Henderson, Nevada. This is her first book.
