This is Sorenson. The folks call him little dreamer. No matter where Sorenson is, he’s always dreaming of being somewhere else. His mom says it happened the day he was born. The first moment she laid eyes on him he seemed to be looking around everywhere, looking for somewhere else to go. Sorenson was born at home, ya know! When Sorenson had it in his mind to do something, he seemed to ponder on it all day long. Once he was determined to climb the tallest tree in the woods. So, he spent half the day looking for it and the other half he spent yelling for someone to help him get back down. Jasper just sat and wagged his tail. Sorenson stayed up there two days before anyone noticed him missing. Then the whole town came out looking for him.

About the Author
Shirley Hall is a retired teacher. She enjoyed teaching first grade for over twenty years. Teaching children reading was her greatest passion. Her mission was to get her students ‘Hooked on Reading’. She began writing children’s books after being Inspired during a reading conference. She has written several children’s books. She lives in Indiana with her husband, Larry, and has three grown children.
