William Best and Friends Go to the North Pole

About the Book

This is a children’s story about friends and their camaraderie in chilldhood and all the adventures they get up to. Two friends Charles Sparrow and William Best decide to go the North Pole from England as they never have been there.Later they are met there by two other friends Eric and Pete but they all soon feel homesick and long to return home. Most people dream of going to the North Pole but for these children it was a reality. I decided to write a children’s book as childhood is precious and special to many people. We should all preserve our childhood memories.

About the Author

Born in 1960. She has been a Journalist and Teacher since 1992. Only started writing novels and short stories recently. This is her first published children’s book. Other works include: ’The King has Lost his Crown’ and ‘In the Middle of Nowhere’, the first sent to the Channel 4 competition, ‘The Play’s the Thing’ and the second to the Aswan Virgina Woolfe Award. She also writes poetry some of which has been published in the Choice magazine also has had readings in ‘Dead Poet’s Society’ in Bexleyheath,AWA in Bexleyheath and the Multi-Cultural Centre in Bexley. She’s also an Interior Designer and Business woman.
