About the Book

Jazelle’s Birthday is the story of an African American girl who thinks her parents forgot her seventh birthday. But as the day goes on, Jazelle discovers that no one has forgotten her at all. Jazelle receives the bicycle she wants without the training wheels.

About the Author

I am a freelance writer of children’s literature and a retired teacher that loves working with children to help them become productive individuals in society. I have three grand- children that inspire me to write. That is why this book is named after my oldest grand- daughter.
