About the Book

This is the first book of the Oliver James book series. This book deals with Oliver being bullied in school over differences in accent. Oliver is a bunny who has a British mother and a Jamaican father and who moves from England to America. Each Oliver James book deals with accepting differences and teaches that being different is okay. It also deals with tough topics that today’s kids must deal with. Oliver James is Amy’s actual bunny, and this series is in memory of him and how he helped her deal with her differences during her adolescent years. RIP, Bubba, Mama loves ya.

About the Author

Amy Trotier is a Chicagoan author. She’s a unique old soul who has a love for animals and children. She’s been writing since she was in elementary school and it flourished into a career. Her goal is to show young children that it is okay to be different and to accept people who are different.
