About the Book

Why is a business that looks so good on paper today out of business tomorrow? The US Census Bureau reports four hundred thousand new business start-ups every year while 470,000 fold in the same period. Start-ups have increased by 55 percent in the last three years, but 46.7 percent have already failed. What’s going on? After working with hundreds of small companies, one overriding reason that is common to all seems to be surfacing. Very few know that they are failing until it’s too late. This book not only answers the question, but it gives a specific prescription that puts the small business owner in control of the outcome. Now you have a choice to pass or play, to make or lose money, to make something a business or a hobby. Regardless of your decision, you should never again have to say, “I used to love my business, now I hate it.”

About the Author

Mike Wolf began the design of a unique Eastern-based small business management system with his first business in 1965 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Over the last 52 years, Mike owned twenty-three companies of every type, size and description. His businesses were his research and experiments, with hundreds of documented case studies. His employees were the trial and error people who helped along the way to prove and perfect various processes. During that time, he served as a consultant and speechwriter to the CEOs and senior officers of over 300 of global Fortune 1,000 companies. Mr. Wolf worked tirelessly side by side with 72 top executives of those companies, and together, they shaped what is known today as “Kanketa, Journey in balance”. Kanketa is the future of small business, backed by science. Today, Kanketa is making a tremendous difference in the lives of small business owners throughout America.
