About the Book

Being pregnant with my daughter was the best feeling ever. My first pregnancy was absolutely perfect, so when I found out I was pregnant with my second child, I thought it would be just as wonderful. Unfortunately, I had to have an emergency C-section, and I gave birth to my son prematurely at thirty weeks due to a ruptured placenta. Robert Alan was born three pounds, three ounces. He stayed in the hospital for two whole months. After one month, the doctors wanted to send him home, but Robert became very sick. He caught group B strep, and we almost lost him again. He then was treated and had to stay for one more month. Today you would have never known that Robert was such a sick premature baby.

About the Author

When I was a little girl, I used to go to my best friend’s house and play school with her and my sister. I used to enjoy this so much I realized that I wanted to be a teacher at the age of 7. As a child I had a hard time in school and never really enjoyed it. It is my mission that no child ever feels the way I did about school and grows to love it just like I did. Teaching is my passion and I love every second of it. I am also a mother to 3 beautiful children who motivate me to be the best I can be. Everything I do is for them and I hope they are as proud of me as I am of them.
