About the Author

Born in Jamaica, Claudette King-Welcome graduated from the Anita Priest School of Interior Design in Miami, Florida, and spent many years as a successful design consultant before she began to pursue writing. She is a member of the laureate program offered by the International Society of Poets and earned the Editor’s Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry. In addition to her book Love Made Well, she has authored How I Killed My Father, the sequel to Connections, and Paper Thoughts, a wonderful collection of poems. She currently resides in Central Florida with her husband. She’s a mother of three children and grandmother of five.
