About the Author

Seymour, ninety-three years old, moved into an independent senior residence located in Delray Beach, Florida, with his dear wife, Florence, eighty-eight years old. They were the proud parents of a loving family—a son, Ralph; a daughter, Elaine; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Shortly after celebrating their sixty-eighth wedding anniversary, Florence became ill and was hospitalized and then sent to a long-term rehabilitation facility, where she tragically passed away. Everyday Seymour was at her side, conferring with the doctors and nurses. To relieve the stress of his true love, striving to recover, he began writing this novel. Staying in the same facility alone, he completed this novel.
