Denita’s family moved from Portland, Oregon, to Chicago, Illinois, to have a better life for the family. Good friends are hard to find, but the crew—Denita’s friends—always has her back. About the Author

Tameka Sonoma is a woman with a purpose to teach teenagers how to deal with life’s tough challenges. Young people go through life wondering what it’s all about. There are challenges that we face which can be so hard to deal with as a young person. As a young lady living in New York City, Tameka Sonoma didn’t have a hard time dealing with too many challenges because she received good validation from her friends and family. Tameka Sonoma started off as a blogger, went into doing podcasts, and then decided to become an author. She has a message and wants to share the wisdom that she has learned with all who will listen.
