About the Book
In With an Open Heart, a book of thoughts and poems, I am hoping to transmit my thoughts, hopes, and feelings. Writing is something that keeps my mind occupied. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, something that was not easy for me to accept. I started writing as therapy, as a way to help me cope and fight my condition.
About the Author
With An Open Heart is Michelle Rivera’s third book, and the first one in English. The first two are in Spanish, Por Mis Amores y Desamores and Pensamientos e Inspiraciones al Amor, both published in 2013. Born in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico now living in Los Angeles.
