About the Book

When Lilly and Leo are suddenly caught in a current moving further downstream into the rapids, will God help them escape? Will God allow any of them to actually live through this time of trouble? Will they find a way out of the current before they are pulled completely under? Where does this section of the river go to? Will Rhianna and her children ever see Leo again? Will any of the creatures that believe in God find their promised home? Will the rest of the groups of animals inside the other totes even make it to safety? Will the concept of the Zeiglar house rules survive? What will happen to the group’s hopes and dreams? Will everything be lost here inside the rough waters of the river?

About the Author

Willow Love’s “The Zeiglar Rules” is based on a real event that happened in September 2010. At the end of a three-day downpour, her home was flooded. Willow stated she was unable to sleep that night. She was sitting in her living room reading, while her quadriplegic teenager slept. “I hear a strange rushing noise,” she informed her friends. “Then my three cats, Leo, Jakey, and Rhianna, started howling. I opened the kitchen door to check on them and realized we were in trouble. The entire area had over three feet of water and more was leaking in.” Willow won’t go into more details because that night and the horror they lived through still affects her daughter today. If God had not cared for Willow’s family, her daughter might not be here today. The Zeiglar Rules is an offshoot of that night, but as seen through the eyes of Christian animals. Willow hopes the story will inspire and give hope to others. Willow Love has previously published “Once in a Dark Dream.” She lives and writes in Georgetown, Texas.
