A compilation of short stories and a few poems. Some of the stories have been published but others are new and will suit any adult. Destination Greece, a romantic novel where a young couple go back packing around Greece, which changes their lives. Other stories are crime and every day life stories. Joe McGhee made his way down the gangway for the last time and he was leaving the merchant navy to take a job on a lighthouse to provide a home for his mother and sister after his father was killed in a mining accident.

About the Author

Mary Ann McPhedran The author age 74 on her birthday this August taught herself to write short stories on the computer. She writes on two communities on the internet, fanstory.com and writelink.co.uk. She was raised in Scotland,but moved to live in Corby Northamptonshire in 1963 after marriage, and is a member of the local writing group ‘The Inkshed’ in Corby.
