About the Book

When a little boy meets Jesus, wonderful things happen! This truth is beautifully portrayed in The Boy Who Gave His Lunch. The story is based on the well-known miracle of Jesus feeding more than five thousand people. The events of that day and the impact Jesus had on the people present are brought to life through the eyes of the little boy who played a key role in this miracle. Those familiar with this story will see it in a new light as they sit with the little boy on the hillside to hear Jesus teach. Those for whom the story is new will learn about Jesus’s power to perform miracles, but more importantly, they will learn about Jesus’s love for them. What is true for the little boy in this story is still true today; when a person meets Jesus, wonderful things happen!

About the Author

Regina Davis has loved Bible stories all of her life. Her parents, grandparents, and aunt read Bible stories to her from the time she was born until she was reading them for herself. She has continued to study the Bible and share those stories. She began teaching Bible stories to children through vacation Bible school when she was in college. She continued to teach children as a Sunday school teacher for many years. She has taught all age groups, from four-year-olds through teenagers and adults. She has a passion to share the love of Jesus with children in a way that helps them come to know and love Him.

That passion is especially strong when it comes to her family. Regina and her husband, Richard Davis, have two beautiful daughters and one beloved granddaughter. Regina and Rick reside in the small community of Algoa, Texas.

Regina graduated from Baylor University with a degree in chemistry. She immediately went to work for Union Carbide Corporation as a chemist. She continued to work in the field of quality assurance until she retired from the Dow Chemical Company. Currently, Regina teaches a ladies’ Sunday school class in her home church, as well as vacation Bible school during the summer and a ladies’ mission study in the winter.
