About the Book
Chest by the Bay is a haunting story of an abandoned amusement park and the curiosity of a child. The opening of a long-forgotten chest reawakens the spirits of a circus from the past.
About the Author
Tessa Beauchat is currently a seventh grade student at St. Francis Xavier School in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She also participates in the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth. In 2012, Tessa received High Honors from the Center for scoring in the top 5% of students internationally applying for the program. Tessa plays travel volleyball with the Revolution Volleyball Club of Pennsylvania. She also enjoys horseback riding, water sports, and snow skiing. She lives in historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania with her family, including her sister, Bryn, and her miniature dachshunds, Rubi and Dora.
