After over fifty years of teaching, I have learned what makes children want to read. The words should be repetitive and interesting. The story line should teach a concept or provide information about an event or happening. From a teacher’s perspective the book should provide an opportunity for teaching reading. This book shows that PH and F have the same sound as well as IE and Y.
