About the Author
Burt Northcutt, a.k.a., Grey Stone is a native Texan and received his formal education in the Texas School Systems throughout the state. He served in 1st Marine Reconnaissance Company during the Korean conflict. When discharged he pursued a career in the fields of Finance, Transportation and Banking. Immediately upon retirement he began writing fictional genre, both contemporary and historical, providing action, intrigue and mystery for the reader. Previously he has authored two novels, 'Straight Arrow', a contemporary murder mystery and , 'Timberlake' a historical fiction taking us back to the 1934-1942 era. In a recent interview he was asked about his favorite work. His immediate reply, "'Timberlake', because I lived it!" In addition to 'The Lenora Assignment', he recently finished his fourth novel, 'Ryder', a western murder mystery set in mid 1865. When asked for more details he only smiled and said, "The best I can do for now is to say. . . 'it's different'!" Publishing date is set for 2014.
