About the Book

Healing Through and From Sarita’s Pen is unique because the inspirational and motivational quotes and prayers were designed to be a blessing to others even while I was going through hurt, pain and the disappointment of divorce . As a preacher, a teacher, and a leader in my church, and I was going through this unthinkable situation.   But then, God gave me Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT); “For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. It was then that I changed my perspective of why he wanted me to write. The writing was not for me, it was to help others. Yet in the process of writing, I was being healed. All the trials and tribulations I was going through became less and less traumatic.  While I was focusing on helping others, God handled my issues. Obedience is better than sacrifice.   God told me he had a new beginning waiting for me, but I must let go of the past.  He told me to not let the enemy keep me depressed and discouraged. He would not let one door close without opening another one for me.  When the devil reminds me of my past, remind him of his future. I wrote almost daily, contributing to the healing of others, and being healed at the same time.

About the Author

Sarita Price is an author, speaker, licensed and ordained minister, entrepreneur, human resource professional, and a loving and supportive mom who cherishes her daughter very much. Her love for God and being a blessing to His people and The Kingdom is her passion. Her purpose in life is to uplift and inspire the women and men of God who are going through major life situations to shift their thinking to the good things of God as Philippians 4 states. She believes and has experienced being blessed far beyond anything she could have ever imagined when she focused on being a blessing to others while she was going through her own storms and healing process. Yes Sarita firmly believes that “I am my brother’s keeper”.

Sarita has over 20 years of experience in customer service management, sales operations, finance, executive administration, human resources, and project management. Sarita is currently employed with a major sports and fitness company as a human resource professional. Sarita received her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management from the University of Memphis and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix. Sarita is also a member of various organizations such as SHRM (Society For Human Resource Management) and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.  Sarita’s passion is to uplift, motivate, and educate people from every walk of life as God designed with humility in boldness while being a blessing to all as God blesses with peace, power, protection, and prosperity.
