About the Author
María-José Suárez was born in Honduras and she is the only girl in a family of four brothers. After graduating from Escuela Internacional Sampedrana (a Honduran private Bilingual School) she was accepted in Nevada State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Soon after, Maria-Jose moved to California with her parents. She enrolled and graduated from Ex’pression College of Digital Art with a degree of applied sciences. She now works as a freelance 3D modeler, texture artist and concept designer. She still lives with her parents in the Bay Area. The Keep of the Sorcerer is Maria-Jose’s first book inspired by poets, Edmund Spencer and John Keats, and folk tales from her country. She believes above all in people’s natural tendency to be kind and generous, even when naughty at times.
