About the Book

The author of this book would like readers of all ages and stages of life to be empowered by its message. Mrs. Hyatt provides ideas and explanations to everyday issues we all have to cope with on a daily basis. Whether dealing with relationships, communication or observations; we all must make choices that we can live with. Understanding that all behavior is purposeful and goal directed by teaching about power struggles, self control and validation can be life changing for children and adults alike. This book helps develop life skills and awareness of those around us which in turn will guide all of us toward inner peace and a better understanding of others.

About the Author

Nicki Hyatt is a retired teacher/counselor that is very concerned about the way families are connecting with each other in today's society. She was born and raised in Idaho where she did undergraduate work at Boise State University and Graduate work at Northwest Nazarene University. She currently lives on Prince of Wales Island in Thorne Bay, Alaska with her husband Phil who is co-owner and operator of Good Faith Lumber. She is also the mother of two beautiful daughters proud grandmother of five grandchildren.
