About the Author

Jeffrey McDonald lives on Full Circle Farm in Hillsville,Va with his faithful black Labrador, Blackie. Uppity is his first childrens book in what he hopes will be the first of many.

Ellen Grace Brooke is a home schooled fifteen year old who lives in Floyd, Va. Uppity is her first illustrated work. Currently, she is enrolled in ballet and aspires to be a dancer.
