This story tells the tale of a young child's relationship to the mighty ocean. In her attempt to deal with the bullying of her classmates Sandy turns to the magic of her sand dollar. The power of the bullies is no match for the love and power of the ocean!

About the Author

Linda Notarangelo-Hodgins She has spent 32 years in education. She continues to champion equity and diversity issues. Looking for sea shells along the shore with her five grandchildren is one of her treasured pastimes. She makes her home in New Jersey with her family.
