About the Book

The book is a collection of poems over the years by the author. The poems are divided into six segments: life and death ;War and Peace;Nature, country, life and seasons;Love and passion;politics and finally,religion and spirituality.

About the Author

Abiodun Ehindero was born on the 1st of January 1942 in the small rural town of Ogidi in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State in Nigeria, which was formally Kabba Province of Northern Nigeria. He attended Mount St Michael College Aliade, a Catholic Church secondary school in what is now Benue State of Nigeria 1957 – 1962. He attended Federal Emergency Science School Onikan - Lagos where he studied advance level science subjects from 1963 – 1964. At the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Northern Nigeria he studied and obtained a Bachelor degree in Agricultural Science. He taught Chemistry, Biology, and Zoology briefly at the Queen Elizabeth Secondary School in Ilorin Kwara State Nigeria, from September 1968 through September 1969. Abiodun Ehindero joined the head office staff of the West African Portland Cement Co. Ltd in November 1969 as a Trainee Field Sales Manager and eventually rose to senior management level; heading at different periods, the Sales/Marketing, Commercial(Procurement) and Personnel/ Administration department. He retired from the company after 27 years of service on the 31st of December 1996. His previous published poetry collections are; The Dead Tree 1986 and The Response of the Dead 1993.
