The shocked look on her habit-ringed face would continue to flash back at me at the most inappropriate times (especially during sex) and without warning. Those flashbacks were a major contributor to the end of my first marriage, but that is a story for another time.

Merry Christmas Paco Alvarez is a funny series of vignettes about one year in the life of a young Catholic boy and his relationship with his classmates, family, and dog. The many misadventures of Sean Raven, Paco Alvarez and friends will hopefully entertain and delight the reader. this novella will evoke sweet memories for catholic school alumni, and anyone who encountered the fears and joys of childhood.
About the Author
I was born in a small town in Indiana, and raised a Catholic; that religion, and my experiences in Catholic school, had a huge impact on me. This novella was a pleasure to write, and brought to mind some vivid memories. This is a work of fiction, but the essence of it is very real. Childhood, with all its fears and joys, serves as a fertile ground for heartwarming, and funny stories. I hope all enjoy Merry Christmas Paco Alvarez. I currently live in Indianapolis Indiana with my wife, Peggy, and teach high school English at a small public school. My children are grown, and we currently enjoy our five delightful grandchildren.
