About the Book

Now an elderly woman, Jo looks back on her childhood and shares memories from the perspective of Jo, the little girl, along with tidbits of information to aid in a better understanding of the climate of the times during the difficult depression years. Perhaps you will find it surprising that a child living in the midst of poverty did not feel deprived in any way. Life was simple and she was filled with wonder at the never ending delights of the world. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Jo and her husband of 70 years make their home in Las Vegas, Nevada. They have two sons and a daughter, who in turn have blessed them with a host of beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren to cherish.
