About the Book

One night while looking out of her bedroom window, Adelaide remembers what her mother told her on the day her father passed away. While holding Adelaide in her arms, she pointed to the stars and said "daddy has gone to heaven." This gives Adelaide an extraordinary idea. She decides to embark on a journey to find her daddy even if it means going all the way to the stars to reach him. Adelaide and the Journey to the Stars is a story about hope, courage and the discovery that the ones we've lost are never really that far away.

About the Author

Meredith Posner is a freelance illustrator in NYC and Rachel Posner is an Art Therapist in Boston MA. They are twin sisters and co-authors of Adelaide and the Journey to the Stars. Meredith Posner, currently holds a Bachelor's degree in fine art from Purchase College as well as a degree in Exhibit Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Rachel Posner received her Bachelor's degree from Drew University and has a Master's degree in Art Therapy from Leslie University. Meredith and Rachel Posner enjoy creating and telling stories and hope that this book will bring comfort to those who have suffered the loss of a loved one.
