Coleen Nelson, the author, if not working in her garden, is interacting with her grandchildren and planning her next adventure.
Coleen, the author, retired from the United States Air Force and moved to Georgia after 22 years of military service. After retiring, she trained as a cosmetology instructor and taught cosmetology until 2009. Coleen is a new children’s author; however, this is her second book. Her first book, Lace Up for Safety, was written over 18 years ago. Coleen's motto is “exercise your brain—read.”
