Lucky Duck

About the Book

This book is based on a true story of a duck, name Lucky, who was rescued from the wild as an egg and hatched, on a heating pad. Lucky seemed to know everything ducks do, but didn’t know he was a duck, and thought the family that raised him was his parents. In this book, Lucky tells his story of his adventures of being raised in a house with humans, but still maintaining his identity as a duck.

About the Author

My family and I felt the need to write this story because; this little duck really touched our lives and so many others. Lauren is a sixth grader who loves animals, dancing, and playing the piano. Lauren also has a grown sister name Brittnie. I own a construction cleaning company and never thought I would be raising a duck in my home. I want to gratefully acknowledge my family and friends who encouraged me to write this story and making this possible.
