Fork In The Road It's only so often you can write about a constant theme before that theme becomes boring Then you look to your work and try to figure out if it's your true calling. Thinking out loud like what else are you really good at? You have a career but is that your real plan B if your writing doesn't take full effect. Find yourself second guessing that one thing you once gave your all to The only thing you've ever had passion about becomes a last second audible. Then what? What's the next step? Do you even have a clue? What's success without the fear of failure to help motivate you. Moment of Clarity Sitting here reminiscing about all the faith you put in women, Why is the end result people always assuming that you sound scorned? Maybe it's not you and everyone else is loving wrong. What do they call people like you, oh yeah hopeless romantics, At what point do you speak up and say you're tired of being taken for granted? At what point to you stand up and say you're tired of the abuse? At what point do you say I gave you my all, for it not to be reciprocated and you're tired of being used? You'd be surprised how many people stick around thinking things will change, But if your words are falling on deaf ears everything would stay the same. People live with hope I wish they knew how dangerous that emotion really was You hope for change, you hope for love, but what happens when it never comes? It feels like wasted time but no it's actually a learning lesson, It teaches you that though one person didn't appreciate you, someone else can cash in on that blessing. The reality is we aren't hopeless romantics at all Just another hopeful soul wandering like you, Just trying to find another kindred spirit to truly feel loved, that's also tired of being used. Understand and stop letting fear of the unknown guide your path, It's better to lose love than to say you never have had.
