Natalie Barnhouse, MS, NCC, LPC is a National Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in children, and an early childhood educator with more than 13 years experience working in the field. Over the years she discovered the power of using books and art to develop children's social and emotional understanding with regards to both themselves and others. Her personal favorite, however, are books that are fun to read with engaging illustrations, as this helps connect the content to the audience,and are the types of books she has always selected for herself and her family.
